The Florida Gators delivered a significant upset Saturday, defeating No. 4 Ole Miss 41-24 in Gainesville. The victory was powered by a relentless rushing attack that accumulated 302 yards, with running backs Jadan Baugh and Duke Clark each surpassing 100 yards on the ground. This marks the first time since 2022 that two Gators running backs have achieved this feat in the same game.
Florida established control early, opening the scoring with a touchdown run from Baugh and adding a field goal from Patrick Durkin in the first quarter. Ole Miss managed two field goals in the second quarter, but Baugh scored again before halftime, giving Florida a 17-6 lead at the break.
The Gators extended their lead in the second half. After Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss scored a rushing touchdown, Florida responded with another touchdown run, this time by Duke Clark.
