Flora Vesterberg, granddaughter of Princess Alexandra and 62nd in line to the British throne, has given birth to her first child. Vesterberg, 31, announced on her Instagram page that she and her Swedish husband, Timothy, welcomed a daughter named Isabel Marina on July 8.

"Timothy and I are overjoyed and full of love for her," Vesterberg wrote in her announcement. "She’s named for the blessing that she is as well as my paternal great-grandmother. Her name also means 'of the sea' where we always feel most at peace in Scotland and Sweden."

Vesterberg, an art historian, shared a photo of the newborn sleeping. The couple, who reside in London, are both 31 years old. Timothy works as a director at a private equity investment firm.

In January, Vesterberg announced her pregnancy, sharing a photo taken by her father, landscape designer and photographer James Ogilvy. She was described as a PhD student at The Courtauld Institute of Art in London, where her studies focus on "elevating Nordic impressionism."

In January, Flora announced she was expecting her first child with Timothy, sharing the news on her social media account

Vesterberg is a thrice great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. She previously shared in an essay for Vogue that she was diagnosed with autism at age 30.

The couple married in a private ceremony at St James's Palace in September 2020. They met in May 2019 and announced their engagement in November of that year.
