Fleetwood Town's Carabao Cup Victory Puts Spotlight on Players' Partners

Fleetwood Town's unexpected victory over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup has drawn attention to the partners of the League Two team's players. The team secured a place in the quarter-finals for the first time by defeating Arsenal 5-3 on penalties.

Among the notable partners is Francesca Britton, manager to influencer Molly-Mae Hague and wife of Fleetwood Town goalkeeper Jay Lynch. Britton, who married Lynch in Barbados in June 2023, shared her pride in her husband's performance on social media. She began managing Molly-Mae in 2019 and previously directed The Social PR. Britton and Lynch have two sons, Bobbie, born in October 2020, and Tate, born in November 2024. Molly-Mae Hague served as a bridesmaid at their wedding, with her daughter Bambi as flower girl.

Jessica Pairman, in a long-term relationship with midfielder Crispin McLean, also expressed her admiration for her partner. Pairman, from Glasgow, is reportedly studying fashion marketing and branding while working at Starbucks. She previously earned a Higher National Diploma in Fashion Business. Pairman also supported McLean when he ran the London Marathon in April.

Irish striker Ronan Coughlan's wife, Soph, also celebrated the team's achievement. Soph, an influencer with over 3,000 followers, married Coughlan in June 2025 after more than four years of dating. The couple tied the knot in Tuscany and welcomed their first child, Leo, in April. Soph shared a photo of Coughlan and Leo on the pitch following the match, expressing her pride.

Lucie Pywell, girlfriend of defender Finley Potter, was also present to support her boyfriend. Pywell works as an advanced paralegal and conveyancer in Sheffield. She and Potter, who began dating in the summer of 2024, have shared images from various international trips. Potter played in the match against Arsenal despite sustaining a cut near his eye in a previous game.

These partners, often referred to as WAGs (wives and girlfriends), have been sharing their celebrations on social media following Fleetwood Town's significant cup upset.
