A five-year-old girl, identified as Letti Cole, has died after being found unresponsive in a body of water in Badsey, Worcestershire. The child was reported missing last Wednesday evening. Emergency services, including an air ambulance, paramedics, and police, responded to the scene, where Letti was pronounced dead.

West Mercia Police stated that no third party was involved in the incident and urged the public to refrain from online speculation, emphasizing that such discussions are distressing for the family.

Letti's aunt, Hayley Cole, has established a GoFundMe page to help the family create a memorial for the child. In a statement on the fundraising page, she described the loss as unimaginable and expressed gratitude for the community's support.

"On Wednesday evening, we lost our most precious angel in the most tragic circumstances. Our family is completely heartbroken, devastated, and still in shock," Hayley Cole wrote. "The kindness, compassion, and support shown by the people of Badsey has restored my faith in humanity. I want to thank every single person who gave up their time and made every effort to help look for our beautiful Letti. Your love and support will never be forgotten."

She added that a GoFundMe was suggested by a member of the community to help create a memorial. While donations are not obligatory, any contribution would be appreciated to help create a special place to remember Letti.

The fundraiser has so far garnered over £7,000 from the public, with a local business, Badsey Butchers, making a significant donation of £1,000.
