Five men were injured, one seriously, when scaffolding and display screens collapsed at George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch in Nicasio, California, on Monday morning. The incident occurred as crews were setting up for an event at the Northern California property, according to NBC Bay Area.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, with multiple fire departments from Marin County, San Rafael, and Novato assisting. One patient sustained a head injury and was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Another individual became trapped beneath LCD screens, requiring airbags to lift the collapsed structure. Three other men were taken to local hospitals with injuries.

The cause of the collapse is currently under investigation. The sprawling Skywalker Ranch is home to Lucasfilm's Skywalker Sound, a facility for sound design, mixing, and audio post-production. Its technical building features a scoring stage, mix stages, sound design suites, editing suites, an ADR stage, Foley stages, and a 300-seat theater, according to the ranch's website.
