The "It's a Small World" attraction at Walt Disney World experienced a fire on Wednesday, leading to an evacuation of guests as smoke filled the popular ride.

Video footage circulating online showed cast members responding to the incident, with one individual seen using a fire extinguisher inside the attraction while boats continued their course. Guests reported smoke lingering in the area during the ordeal.

While Disney has not officially confirmed the cause of the fire, online accounts from park guests and individuals claiming to be cast members suggest that a guest's portable phone charger ignited within a bag. One widely shared account alleged that a child placed a bag containing a new magnetic portable charger between their legs, causing it to burst into flames.

These accounts also claim that the ride itself sustained no damage and that all guests were safe. Disney has not publicly commented on the specific cause of the incident.

The "It's a Small World" ride is a well-known attraction at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, featuring animatronic dolls from around the globe singing the titular song. The incident occurred on a day when the park was reportedly experiencing normal operations.

This event follows a series of other ride disruptions at Disney parks in recent months. In late May, the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland in California stalled, leaving riders stranded in a scene within the attraction. Earlier in the month, a teenage guest reportedly fell from Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Disneyland, prompting an inspection by the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA). That attraction has since reopened.
