Philadelphia police are examining over one million images recovered from a property linked to an ongoing investigation into alleged criminal activity, as a fifth missing woman has been identified. The home previously belonged to Raymond “R.C.” Horsch, a pornographer who died in 2025 at age 82, and his son, Eugene.

Investigators have identified Nicole Fusaro, who disappeared in 2018 at age 27, as the latest woman connected to the Olney, North Philadelphia residence. Fusaro's family has been cooperating with detectives, according to WPVI. Her cousin stated, “Nicole was a beautiful, kindhearted woman who deserved so much better than what happened to her. She will forever be loved and missed by her family and friends.”

Authorities have previously disclosed the discovery of disturbing material within the home, including alleged snuff films, vats of unidentified chemicals, and writings referencing serial killers. In August, police reported finding an explicit film that appeared to show Raymond Horsch strangling an unidentified woman inside the house. While investigators confirmed the film was shot at the residence, they have not confirmed if Fusaro is the victim depicted.

Raymond Horsch was known as an erotic photographer and a convicted meth producer, who reportedly lured vulnerable female drug users to his home. Evidence seized from the property includes approximately 50 hard drives.

Investigation Origins

The investigation intensified following the June arrest of Eugene Horsch, 44, on charges including impersonating federal agents and possessing firearms with obliterated serial numbers. He was apprehended in Center City with a woman who possessed a fraudulent identification belonging to Blair Tonzelli, one of the previously identified missing women. Tonzelli, 35, a healthcare aide, vanished from the city’s Kensington neighborhood in February 2023.

Investigators have also linked two other missing women to the property: Gabrielle Amarando, 22, last seen in 2012, and Maribel Fresses, 27, last seen in 2018. Additionally, R.C. Horsch's ex-wife, Amy McHale, 44, who was last seen in June 2016, is now considered the fifth missing woman connected to the residence.

Ongoing Examination

Police continue to examine the sewer system beneath the property and the chemical vats discovered on site. Documents found at the home reportedly include an unsigned note referencing serial killer Ted Bundy and methods for waste disposal. Eugene Horsch has not been charged in connection with the disappearances of the five women, though the investigation is ongoing.
