‘Feminists Lied’ Tour Challenges Campus Narratives on Abortion and Feminism

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) and Students for Life of America (SFLA) have launched a joint campus tour titled “Feminists Lied: Prove Me Wrong,” aimed at challenging prevailing narratives about feminism and abortion among college students. The tour, which began Tuesday, is scheduled to hold eight events at universities nationwide, including the University of North Texas, Grand Valley State University, and the University of Washington.

According to the organizations, the tour seeks to question the assertion that feminism and “reproductive rights” have predominantly benefited women. SFLA President Kristan Hawkins stated that many young women have been influenced by feminist ideologies without understanding the pro-life movement's stance on supporting women and families.

Hawkins plans to engage students by asking critical questions about career, equality, empowerment, and motherhood, probing whether women have been presented with a truthful account of these aspects of life. “If men do not have to sacrifice their children in order to succeed, why should women?” Hawkins said in a statement announcing the tour. “A society that values women should treat motherhood as an essential contribution worthy of honor, not a liability.”

The tour format mirrors the “Prove Me Wrong” sessions previously conducted by the late TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated in September 2025. These events featured debates and open question-and-answer sessions with students. Hawkins noted that continuing this work honors Kirk's legacy.

“These videos, these conversations that we’re having, not only do they change [the] minds of the 100-plus students who are gathered who can actually hear the conversation happening in real time, they change tens of thousands of minds of young people online,” Hawkins told Fox News Digital. She asserted that these discussions are vital for saving lives and changing perspectives, recounting instances where mothers considering abortion changed their minds after witnessing online debates.

Hawkins has extensive experience engaging in campus dialogues. Over two decades, she has established a national network of SFLA campus groups. Last spring, she conducted an “Abortion is Human Sacrifice” tour with a similar objective.

She observed that arguments from pro-choice advocates remain consistent across different types of campuses, often involving discussions about children in foster care or personal stories of sexual assault and rape. Hawkins believes the core of the debate rests on the definition of what is inside a woman. She contends that if the fetus is considered a human person, then abortion involves harming another member of the human species.

While acknowledging that Gen Z men are showing a more pro-life stance compared to millennial men, Hawkins noted that Gen Z women still lean towards being pro-choice. The tour aims to address what she describes as
