Jordan Pensak, 27, has been charged with sexual abuse of a person in custody while employed at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. Federal authorities allege that Pensak initiated a relationship with an inmate in 2024 after the individual began working in her unit.

The alleged affair spanned over a year, according to a criminal complaint filed by federal authorities. Court documents claim that Pensak expressed concerns via text message about a potential pregnancy and the race of the child, noting her marriage to another individual. Authorities also claim that Pensak and the inmate engaged in sexual acts within an office at the facility, with other inmates reportedly acting as lookouts.

Investigators reportedly uncovered over 100 sexually explicit messages, photos, and videos exchanged between Pensak and the inmate. A seized phone allegedly revealed messages to other inmates where Pensak admitted to the relationship. Communications were reportedly conducted via Instagram.

Pensak appeared in federal district court in Camden and was released on bail, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for New Jersey. If convicted, she faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison. The charges against Pensak are accusations, and she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
