A federal judge has lifted all blocks on President Trump's executive order that aimed to restrict mail-in ballots. The decision means the administration can proceed with implementing the order without any legal impediments.
This action follows a Supreme Court ruling on Monday, which determined that legal challenges to the order were premature. The most significant block that has now been lifted concerned the use of the Postal Service as the primary enforcer of mail-voter eligibility.
With all legal holds removed, there are no longer any caveats preventing the administration from moving forward with the executive order's implementation. The order was initially issued in March 2026.
