Fearne Cotton has revealed a colorful new hair transformation during her summer holiday, debuting vibrant pink locks. The presenter, 44, shared the update on Instagram on Tuesday, showing off her new look while on a beach trip with her two children, Rex, 12, and Honey, nine.
Cotton, who shares her children with ex-husband Jesse Wood, admitted to a packing oversight for her getaway. While she remembered to pack hair dye, sunglasses, books, and her children's clothing, she confessed to forgetting to pack any underwear for herself. "I took my kids on holiday and guess what I forgot to pack... Pink hair dye? Nope, packed that! Knickers for me? Yup. Didn't pack a single pair!!!!" she wrote in her post.
Cotton and Wood, the son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, separated after ten years of marriage approximately 18 months ago. Wood, 49, is currently preparing to welcome his fifth child with his new girlfriend, Gemma Gregory, after they recently moved into their first home together.
Following the announcement of Wood's upcoming child, Cotton reverted her name from "Mrs Fearne Wood" back to "Ms Fearne Cotton." Her representatives previously declined to comment on whether her divorce from Jesse Wood had been finalized when contacted by the Daily Mail.
In June, Cotton mentioned on Instagram that she was navigating "certain stressful things" in her life. She shared an anecdote about a positive encounter with a stranger who wrote a poem for her and her daughter, describing it as a reminder of the kindness of others amidst juggling various responsibilities and personal growth.
Cotton did not explicitly detail the nature of her stressful circumstances. However, it was noted that in the month prior, Gemma Gregory shared on Instagram about settling into their "new casa" with Jesse Wood, showcasing her baby bump in bikini photos and referring to the move as a "new chapter together."
