FBI Searches Home Linked to Former Rep. Eric Swalwell

The FBI executed a court-authorized search warrant at a home in Southern California on Tuesday as part of an ongoing criminal investigation, according to an FBI spokesperson. Sources have indicated to ABC News that the search is connected to former Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell.

While Swalwell does not reside at the property, he is believed to have stayed there for a period, sources told ABC News. The FBI stated, "Early this morning the FBI conducted an operation in the Los Angeles region related to an ongoing criminal investigation. We have no further comment."

An attorney for Swalwell was reached for comment. This is a developing story, and updates will be provided as they become available.
