FBI Director Kash Patel Engaged to Country Singer Alexis Wilkins
The couple announced their engagement on social media, with Wilkins sharing a photo of her ring.
FBI Director Kash Patel is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins, the couple announced on social media Sunday evening.
Wilkins, 27, posted a black-and-white photo of herself with Patel, 46, displaying her engagement ring. The caption read, “Went and got the law involved.” The pair began dating before Patel assumed leadership of the FBI in 2025, and Wilkins attended his swearing-in ceremony.
Wilkins, who released her debut album in 2023, is a country singer and political commentator. She has been associated with conservative groups and states on her website that she “honors country tradition while adding relevance and current commentary.”
Patel, who reposted Wilkins's photo, has previously faced scrutiny over his use of government aircraft for travel. Criticism arose regarding trips with no apparent law enforcement purpose, including a flight on an FBI jet to State College, Pennsylvania, for a pro wrestling event where Wilkins performed the national anthem. Social media photos shared by Wilkins after the event showed the couple smiling, with Wilkins holding a large championship belt.
Wilkins also performed at President Donald Trump's Great American State Fair on the National Mall as part of America 250. This performance occurred after other artists withdrew from the event upon learning it was not a non-partisan celebration.
