FBI Director Kash Patel is engaged to country singer Alexis Wilkins, the couple announced on Sunday. Wilkins, 27, shared the news on social media with a photograph of herself and Patel, 46, showcasing her new diamond ring.
"Went and got the law involved," Wilkins quipped in the post.
The pair met at a friend’s event in Nashville in 2022 and began dating in early 2023. Last year, Wilkins described their relationship, stating, "I have always liked [him], when I met him, I just liked that he was so, so honest. He’s exactly who he is all the time. His character is incredible. His values are incredible."
Patel, who has faced scrutiny in his role as FBI director, remained close with Wilkins throughout. Wilkins, who is also conservative, has hosted her own show on Rumble.
Patel later shared his fiancée’s announcement on social media, adding heart and diamond ring emojis.
