Patrick Clancy, the father of three young children who were killed, has given his first television interview, speaking about the profound impact of the tragedy and the subsequent public reaction. In an interview with 60 Minutes, Clancy described the moments following the discovery of his children's deaths.

According to Clancy, his wife, Lindsay, described the events as feeling like a dream when he asked her about it. "She said it was like a dream, and she remembered it much in the way you'd remember a dream after waking up," Clancy recounted.

One of the children, baby Callan, survived for four days despite severe trauma. Clancy expressed hope for a miracle during that period.

Clancy also addressed the public scrutiny he and his wife have faced, noting that "unspeakable cruelty" has been directed at them, with some examining his every word and action to cast him as a "monster."
