Father of Sahara Ray’s Daughter Identified Posthumously

The father of model Sahara Ray’s daughter, Snow, has reportedly been identified as Michael Bradley Dow, 38, according to birth records obtained by TMZ. Ray, who died at 34 on Sunday, never publicly disclosed the identity of her daughter's father prior to her death.

Snow Ray Dow was born in January in Los Angeles. Ray, who was romantically linked to Justin Bieber in 2016, reportedly died from a fentanyl overdose. She was taken to a hospital and placed on life support before her family decided to remove her from it on Sunday.

The cause of death has not been officially released, and it remains unclear if the overdose was accidental.

Ray, the daughter of legendary surfer Tony Ray, had largely withdrawn from public life in recent years. Her last known public appearance was in November 2023. In April of this year, she revealed she had been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome after being hit by a car, an autoimmune condition that left her partially paralyzed and reliant on a wheelchair.

Her mother, Gretchen Bach, described Ray as a “passionate and kind young woman who loved her family, fashion, her daughter Snow, and surfing.” Her younger sister, Ruby Ray, also paid tribute to the late model on social media.

Ray first introduced Snow to her followers in April, sharing a photo of her daughter with the caption, “Baby snow hallelujah.” In July, her final social media post featured a series of photos of Snow, with Ray writing, “My whole heart 🤍 baby Snow.”
