Farrah Abraham Unrecognizable After Jaw Surgery
The reality star underwent a medically necessary procedure to correct a degenerative jaw condition, resulting in significant facial swelling and a temporary inability to speak.
Farrah Abraham, known for her extensive plastic surgery history, is now virtually unrecognizable following a recent procedure to address a degenerative jaw condition. The surgery required her jaw to be wired shut, leading to considerable facial swelling. A source close to the former MTV star told the Daily Mail that Abraham will be unable to speak for two months and will consume meals in liquid form.
Abraham, 35, appeared on her daughter Sophia's TikTok live stream shortly after the surgery. Unable to speak, she held up a sign that read, "I had surgery + can't talk. Thanks for all the gifts." She also shared on Instagram, "I feel like Frankenstein right now. Praying my face comes back in three months."
Shocking images obtained by the Daily Mail show Abraham recovering in the hospital with jagged scars and stitches along her jawline and ear. The reality star had been dealing with a degenerative disc disease in her jaw throughout the year. In May, she revealed on the Pillow Talk podcast that the condition caused significant pain and limited her ability to open her mouth normally.
Abraham has been open about her numerous cosmetic procedures over the years, with her total spending estimated to be in the six to seven figures. She has undergone multiple breast augmentations, rhinoplasty, chin implants, lip and facial fillers, butt injections, and vaginal rejuvenation. She previously told the Daily Mail that she believes in preventative procedures, opting for interventions in her 30s to allow for better recovery and healing.
