Far-left streamer Hasan Piker described the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., as a "bloodthirsty odious monster" in a video posted to his YouTube channel on Sunday, following the senator's death the previous day.

Graham, 71, died on Saturday after suffering from an aortic dissection due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease, according to the medical examiner's report. The report noted that the findings were not final and that toxicological and microscopic testing would be completed.

Piker, in his broadcast, stated that Graham was "exceptionally bloodthirsty" and "loved war," adding that "there was never a war that Lindsey Graham did not fall in love with." He also contrasted Graham's "pro-life" stance with his death, and criticized what he characterized as mainstream media's tendency to offer polite conversations about politicians' legacies.

Piker's remarks followed a social media post honoring Graham's relationship with Israel, which Piker responded to with "lmao."

Other political commentators also reacted to Graham's death. Ana Kasparian, co-host and executive producer of "The Young Turks," posted "Good riddance" on X. Far-right commentator Nick Fuentes shared the same sentiment online.

Cenk Uygur, co-creator of "The Young Turks," posted a speculative scenario of Graham attempting to convince mythological figures to engage in conflict in the afterlife. Steve Schmidt, former MSNBC analyst and co-founder of the Lincoln Project, described Graham in a Substack post as a "lonely and unprincipled man who betrayed his country for power and his decency for attention."

In contrast, Graham received tributes from allies. President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social that Graham "was always working" and called him "a true American Patriot," adding, "Lindsey will be greatly missed!!! So sad!"

Graham represented South Carolina in the U.S. Senate from 2003 and previously served four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives. Hasan Piker is a prominent streamer known for his left-wing political commentary.
