Fans Urge Snezana Wood to Take Over Sam Wood's Fitness Business Amid His Domestic Violence Charges
Social media users suggest Snezana Wood should become the face of '28 by Sam Wood' as her husband remains incarcerated on domestic violence offenses.
As Snezana Wood navigates her personal life following her husband Sam Wood's arrest and charges of domestic violence, fans are calling for her to take over the fitness business he founded. Wood, a former contestant on The Bachelor, is currently behind bars after being charged with alleged offenses against Snezana.
Fans have expressed their desire for Snezana to lead the '28 by Sam Wood' program, suggesting it could become a women-focused venture. Comments on social media posts by Wood's daughter, Eve, indicate strong support for Snezana stepping into a leadership role. "Eve, tell mum to take over 28. I will sign up for sure if she's the new face!" one user wrote. Another added, "Make it a women’s only thing. I would genuinely want to join to support the Mum and her daughters."
Sam Wood founded the fitness and nutrition program a decade ago. The parent company, Australian Life Tech, was sold to myDNA for an estimated $71 million in 2022, though Wood reportedly remained involved. The program features 28-minute workouts, meal plans, and lifestyle support. DBG Health, the owner of myDNA, has terminated its commercial agreements with Sam Wood following his arrest.
Previously, Snezana Wood was a prominent figure in the company, appearing in numerous training videos and supporting her husband's business endeavors. The Instagram account for '28 by Sam Wood' has been taken down, removing traces of the reality TV star.
Meanwhile, the sale of the couple's Brighton property is proceeding. They had planned to list the home, purchased for $7 million in September 2025, shortly before Wood's arrest. Pre-sale preparations are underway, and an online sales campaign is expected to launch soon.
Sam Wood, 46, was arrested on October 3 after an alleged assault involving Snezana at their Noosa holiday home. He was refused bail and has since been moved to a maximum-security prison. Prosecutors allege that during an argument, Wood pushed Snezana into a wardrobe, grabbed her by the throat, threw her against a wall, and struck her head against the floor. Her daughter Eve reportedly witnessed the incident and called emergency services.
During Wood's court appearance, police prosecutor Sergeant Jeanette Grigoris noted a previous alleged choking incident involving Snezana, stating that Wood's behavior had been escalating. Wood's lawyer has denied the charges, citing severe depression and the possibility of a self-defense claim.
Snezana Wood has reportedly been supportive of the charges proceeding. She was seen publicly for the first time since Wood's arrest without her wedding ring during an outing in Melbourne.
