Fans Predict Maya Jama and King Kenny Will Betray James Acaster on Celebrity Traitors

Fans of Celebrity Traitors are anticipating a potential betrayal of comedian James Acaster by co-Traitors Maya Jama and King Kenny, following Acaster's admission that he was "too scared" to assist in a recent mission. The incident occurred during a challenge where the Traitors were tasked with sabotaging the Faithfuls' efforts to win money for the prize fund, which currently stands at £46,000.

During the mission, Traitors were required to move puzzle pieces while other contestants remained blindfolded. While Jama and King Kenny removed their blindfolds to complete the task, Acaster stayed hidden, citing fear as his reason for inaction. Jama and King Kenny appeared visibly frustrated by Acaster's lack of participation but were unable to confront him in front of the other contestants.

Later, in the Traitors' lair, Jama confronted Acaster, stating, "You did leave us out to dry." Acaster responded by confessing that he enjoyed eliminating Ross Kemp and had found the sabotage mission enjoyable, a revelation that temporarily eased the tension. Jama expressed pride in his confession.

Despite this, viewers took to social media to voice their predictions that Jama and King Kenny might turn on Acaster. Comments on Twitter included sentiments like "Kenny and Maya need to throw James under the bus" and "James will be the next traitor to go." Some fans felt Jama was being critical of Acaster despite his reasoning for not sabotaging the task being "completely sound."

However, other viewers defended Acaster's actions, suggesting his decision was strategic. One user commented, "Honestly think James not moving because of who is either side of him is a smart move," as he was surrounded by contestants determined to identify a Traitor. Another viewer agreed, stating, "icl i don’t blame james for that, it makes sense for kenny to move bc one of the traitors are next to him, and james is surrounded by people who are so dead set on getting a traitor."

Fans generally reacted positively to the mission itself, with comments such as "kinda my fav mission so far" and "this is by far one of the best missions they’ve ever done. it’s about time the traitors were doing some work instead of murdering."
