FanDuel Offers New Users Up to $150 in Bonus Bets for Major Weekend Sporting Events

FanDuel is offering a promotion that provides new users with up to $150 in bonus bets. This offer is triggered by a minimum $5 wager on any of the major sporting events available this Saturday, including college football, the boxing match between Canelo Alvarez and Christian Mbilli, and the NBA slate. No promo code is required to claim the bonus.

To participate, new users must sign up for an account with FanDuel, complete the registration and geolocation verification, and deposit at least $5. After placing a $5 or more wager, they will receive $50 in bonus bets once the wager settles. The promotion allows for an additional $100 in bonus bets if users place a $5 or more wager each day for seven consecutive days. These bonus bets expire after seven days.

Boxing: Canelo Alvarez vs. Christian Mbilli

The boxing event features Canelo Alvarez, a four-division champion with a record of 63-3-2 (39 KOs), challenging undefeated WBC super middleweight champion Christian Mbilli, who holds a record of 29-0-1 (24 KOs). This marks Alvarez's return after a more than 13-month hiatus, with the fight originally scheduled for September 12. Mbilli, who has a slight advantage in height and reach, is facing a significant opponent in Alvarez, while Alvarez, at 36, aims to remain relevant in the 168-pound division. Current odds favor Alvarez.

College Football: Florida vs. Georgia

This Saturday's college football game pits Florida against Georgia at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. This marks the first time the rivalry game has been played outside of Jacksonville in decades due to renovations at EverBank Stadium. Georgia enters the game with a 6-1 record, coming off a bye and a loss to Auburn. Florida holds a 5-2 record in Jon Sumrall's first season, with notable wins over Ole Miss and Texas, and boasts a strong rushing attack. Georgia has won the last five matchups against Florida by 14 or more points. Despite Florida's improved offense, its defense has struggled in SEC play, allowing an average of 34.2 points per game.

NBA Saturday Slate

The NBA schedule for Saturday includes several matchups: the Trail Blazers at the Jazz, the 76ers at the Hornets, the Hawks at the Pelicans, the Kings at the Grizzlies, and the Cavaliers at the Bucks.
