Sean Carrington has added the words "Only Joking!" to a tattoo on his leg that originally proclaimed "England World Cup winners 2026." The clarification was added at the same Holy Trinity Tattoo Studio where the initial tattoo was done.
Carrington stated that he does not regret the original tattoo and would not have done anything differently. He mentioned that the addition was "sound" and that he "didn't really feel it." Carrington is reportedly more concerned about England failing to win the World Cup than about the tattoo itself.
He did not rule out the possibility of getting another football-related tribute tattoo in the future, saying that he does not plan them and gets them "if it pops in my head."
