Fallon Sherrock Among Amateurs Set to Compete Against Luke Littler on Netflix
Women's world number three Fallon Sherrock is one of 24 contestants who will face darts prodigy Luke Littler in a special Netflix broadcast event.
Women's world number three Fallon Sherrock has been named as one of 24 contestants who will compete against darts prodigy Luke Littler in a new Netflix special, titled 'Beat Luke Littler'. The event is scheduled to be broadcast live from the Manchester Central Convention Complex on October 30.
Each of the 24 'amateurs' will play a single leg of 501 against Littler, with a £501,000 prize on offer for anyone who can defeat the two-time reigning world champion. The selection process involved participants attempting to complete a leg of 501 in 24 darts or fewer during auditions held in London and Manchester in September.
Successful contestants then advanced to an interview with show producers, followed by a final assessment with a judging panel. This panel included notable figures from the darts world: 16-time world champion Phil Taylor, Matchroom founder Barry Hearn, and professional player and TV pundit Laura Turner.
Sherrock, a pioneering figure in darts, became the first woman to win a match at the PDC World Championship in 2019 when she defeated Ted Evetts. Among the other young contestants are Mitchell Lawrie and Jayden Walker.
Lawrie, 15, from Scotland, reached the WDF World Championship final last year, becoming the first teenager to do so, and is a two-time world youth champion. Walker recently won the England International Open, becoming the youngest winner of a senior WDF title, a record previously held by Littler.
Luke Littler gained significant fame in 2024 at the age of 16 when he reached the final of the PDC World Darts Championship. He later became the youngest world champion in history by winning the 2025 world title at 17, a title he successfully defended the following year.
