Jimmy Fallon, host of "The Tonight Show," offered a comedic take on who might succeed Karoline Leavitt as White House press secretary when she departs her role at the end of August. During his Tuesday night monologue, Fallon presented footage of an Amazon Alexa device delivering common political talking points, including phrases like "fake news" and "quiet, piggy."

Fallon also referenced a report indicating that former President Donald Trump might opt against appointing a direct replacement for Leavitt. Instead, the report suggested a strategy of utilizing a rotating group of high-ranking officials to conduct press briefings, a method previously employed when Leavitt was on parental leave.

"Which is code for, ‘nobody wants that job,’" Fallon quipped about the potential arrangement.
