Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London recently proposed to his girlfriend of three years, Sofia Gabay, with a proposal that featured a luxury dinner from Taco Bell. The inspiration for the unconventional meal came from Gabay herself, who had told London that it would be her "dream" for Taco Bell to be part of her proposal.

London orchestrated the proposal at a desert ranch in Los Angeles, incorporating elements significant to Gabay. The evening included the opportunity to pet alpacas, an animal Gabay has a strong affinity for. Following their time with the alpacas, London told Gabay he had forgotten something in the car. While he stepped away, ranch staff provided Gabay with a note instructing her to put on a dress and heels that London had left for her – the same attire she had previously mentioned wanting to wear for a proposal.

Gabay described the moment as emotional, stating, "I started crying." She was then escorted to an outdoor area where London was waiting with the engagement ring and a spread of Taco Bell.

"She was actually more stoked about the Taco Bell than the ring," London commented after a Falcons practice. "It's telling what type of woman I got. So, I was excited, though. She was, too."

Gabay expressed her deep affection for the fast-food chain, calling the proposal "perfect."

After enjoying their Taco Bell meal and taking photos, the couple continued their celebration at Nobu in Malibu. The engagement took place on July 2, marking the third anniversary of the day they began dating. This event follows shortly after London signed a four-year contract extension with the Falcons worth $141 million, with $100 million guaranteed. London also mentioned his hope to set their wedding date for July 2, 2027, to simplify anniversary remembrance, though he is undecided about serving Taco Bell at the reception.
