Daejon Love is accused of defrauding at least 26 women out of approximately $1.3 million while posing as a San Francisco 49ers player. Some of his alleged victims have begun to share their experiences and evidence, including text message exchanges, detailing the extent of the alleged scam.

One alleged victim, Karma Rose, stated on Instagram that the situation involves "a lot of darkness" beyond financial deception. She claims Love tailored his approach to each individual, seeking various forms of benefit, including "unconsensual sexual gratification."

Rose expressed concern for the victims' well-being, suggesting that the emotional and mental toll could have severe consequences. "People's physical, mental, emotional health was taken for granted," she said. "Like s—t was really going on that can affect somebody's daily life. People could be losing their lives over things like this."

In a video shared by Rose, Love can be heard saying, "In all seriousness, I don't think we're all on the same page," before the recording cuts off. Rose also released screenshots of text messages between them, showing Love stating he was traveling to Oregon.

Another alleged victim shared a text message thread on the social media platform X, where she confronted Love about not being an NFL player. When asked to provide proof, such as college highlights, Love reportedly claimed a college injury limited his career and that he excelled at a private tryout. He allegedly offered to show team-issued 49ers gear as evidence.

The accuser pressed Love for proof of his football career, calling him a "fake 49er" for lacking evidence. Love's response, according to the texts, was, "Why lie about playing football?"

These accounts suggest a pattern of deception where Love allegedly leveraged a fabricated identity as a professional athlete to manipulate and defraud women. The number of alleged victims and the total amount defrauded are still being investigated as more individuals reportedly come forward.
