As the United States approaches its 250th birthday, the faith group Communio is encouraging families to embrace patriotic traditions. The organization has introduced the "Great American Family Fun Kit," a collection of activities designed to help families reconnect and instill a sense of patriotism.
The kit includes suggestions for July 4th celebrations, such as scavenger hunts and gratitude jars. These activities are intended to provide families with opportunities to bond while learning about and celebrating American heritage. Communio's initiative seeks to strengthen family ties through shared patriotic experiences as the nation prepares for its semiquincentennial anniversary.
