Brighton & Hove Albion manager Fabian Hurzeler has reportedly married his girlfriend, actress Anna Karolin Berger, during the recent international break, according to German outlet Bild.

Hurzeler, 33, has gained recognition as one of Europe's top young coaches following his successful tenure with Brighton. The team currently sits third in the Premier League standings, behind Manchester City and Arsenal.

The German coach is reported to have used the three-week international break to marry Berger. The couple, who have not disclosed the duration of their relationship, only made their romance public over the summer. They shared holiday photos from Mauritius and attended matches at the FIFA World Cup and the Austrian Grand Prix.

Berger, 34, has been performing the role of jewelry designer Larissa Mahnke in the German soap opera "Storm of Love" since 2025. She joined the cast after the character was recast.

Despite their long-distance relationship, with Hurzeler based in Brighton and Berger in Munich, she has attended Brighton matches at the Amex Stadium. In August, Berger posted a photo from Brighton's season-opening 4-0 victory over Aston Villa, captioning it, "no worries - I’m a keeper."

Hurzeler's team has had a strong start to the season, securing five wins, one draw, and one loss in their Premier League fixtures. He was observed wearing a ring on his left ring finger during Brighton's 5-0 victory against rivals Crystal Palace.

Hurzeler is currently under contract with Brighton until 2029, having signed an extension in May.
