A woman, writing under the pseudonym Ellen Bellingham, has detailed what she describes as a relentless campaign of harassment by her husband’s ex-wife, alleging that the interference has created a toxic environment and put her marriage under severe strain.

Bellingham states that she met her husband, Jon, two years after his divorce from Serena was finalized. Jon and Serena were married for ten years and divorced eight years prior to Bellingham’s account. Despite the passage of time and Jon’s subsequent marriage to Bellingham, Serena has continued to assert a presence in Jon’s life that Bellingham finds intrusive and damaging.

"My husband's ex-wife is ruining my life," Bellingham wrote, recounting an incident on her husband's birthday. She described being woken by Jon's phone at 6 a.m. to a lengthy and affectionate message from Serena, which included reminiscences and old photos from their shared past. Bellingham expressed that this message was an attempt by Serena to claim Jon as her property and to assert her priority in his life.

Bellingham stated that she did not cause the end of Jon and Serena’s marriage, noting that Jon was not responsible for the split. According to Bellingham, Serena ended the marriage when their son, Ben, was 18 months old, stating she did not want to be tied down. Initially, Jon and Serena maintained a cordial relationship for their son’s sake, with Serena continuing to attend family gatherings. However, Bellingham reported that Serena’s behavior changed significantly after Jon met Bellingham in 2019.

From the time Serena learned of Bellingham’s existence, she began probing Jon’s friends for information about her. Bellingham recounted further unsettling incidents, including Serena arriving unannounced late at night to see her son, a broken window at their home shortly before Valentine's Day 2020, and her car being parked in a way that prevented Bellingham from opening her own car door.

Following Bellingham and Jon’s wedding in June 2020, Serena allegedly began sending Jon messages that were described as “vicious and accusing one minute, then gushing the next.” Bellingham believes Serena felt displaced and was grieving the loss of her former identity as Jon's wife, especially as she was no longer included in family events in the same way.

Despite suggestions to confront Serena or involve the police, Bellingham has refrained, citing the petty nature of individual incidents and the potential negative impact on their son. Jon has been reluctant to confront Serena directly, fearing she might retaliate by limiting his access to their son. This dynamic has left Jon feeling trapped and Bellingham feeling that their marriage is being held hostage.

Bellingham also noted that their son, Ben, who is now 11, has become uneasy around her and sometimes treats her with suspicion, which Bellingham attributes to what Serena may be telling him.

"The drip-drip effect has been devastating," Bellingham stated, detailing numerous tearful calls to her mother. She expressed her deep love for her husband and her desire for clear boundaries and more consideration, rather than being drawn into a conflict with another woman. Bellingham hopes for a day when Serena finds a new partner and ceases her interference.
