Ex-Trump Aide Calls Stephen Miller a ‘Batshit Crazy’ Prospect to Replace Susie Wiles

Sarah Matthews, a former deputy press secretary in the Trump White House who has since become a critic, described the potential replacement of Susie Wiles as White House chief of staff with Stephen Miller as a "terrifying prospect."

Matthews told MeidasTouch host Jack Cocchiarella that while Donald Trump has publicly stated his support for Wiles, he has been making calls to gauge opinions on potential replacements. "One of those names is Stephen Miller," Matthews said.

Matthews characterized Wiles as complicit in the Trump administration's actions but not "crazy." She described Miller, a key architect of the administration's immigration policies, as "batshit crazy." Matthews warned that having someone like Miller in a senior role during the final two years of a Trump presidency, particularly if Trump perceives himself as a "lame duck," could be "a very scary thing."

Matthews worked with Miller during her time in the White House but stated they were not particularly close.
