Former NFL wide receiver Stedman Bailey was arrested last week and charged with indecent exposure after allegedly engaging in sexual activity at a South Florida mall.

Bailey, 35, and Karina Manderson, 35, were charged in Broward County. Pembroke Pines police allege that surveillance video from the Round1 establishment showed the pair actively engaged in sexual activity around 12:30 a.m. on July 27, while other patrons were present.

According to the arrest affidavit, a witness reported seeing the two having intercourse and asked them to stop. The affidavit states they then left the bar area. Bailey and Manderson reportedly told officers they had consumed alcohol and blamed their actions on drinking shots at the bar. Manderson stated she could not recall the incident, while Bailey admitted to having their pants down.

Both individuals have since been released from Broward County Jail after posting bail. They have entered pleas of not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of exposure of sexual organs.

Bailey, a native of Miramar, Florida, played three seasons with the St. Louis Rams from 2013 to 2015. He was selected by the Rams in the 92nd overall pick of the 2013 NFL Draft after a collegiate career at West Virginia University. During his NFL tenure, Bailey recorded 59 catches for 843 yards and two touchdowns.

Bailey's 2015 season was cut short after he sustained multiple gunshot wounds while in a car with family members in Miami Gardens. He underwent surgery and recovered but did not play in the NFL again.
