Natalie Greene, a former aide to Republican Rep. Jeff Van Drew, who is accused of staging a politically motivated slashing attack, has revealed her scars in a new social media photo. Greene, 26, updated her Facebook profile picture on July 4 to include a selfie with a man covered in tattoos.

In the photo, Greene is seen wearing a tank top that exposes scars on her shoulder, chest, and neck. Her dark hair is pulled back, and her hand is covering her mouth as she laughs. The man next to her is wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap, with visible tattoos on his neck and arm.

Greene was charged with conspiracy to falsely report a violent attack and making false statements to law enforcement. Authorities allege she hired a Pennsylvania-based "scarification" fetish artist to inflict dozens of surgical-like slashes across her body. Investigators found a reference photo that Greene had shown the artist, and her wounds reportedly matched the image precisely. The words "Trump whore" were also written on her stomach in black marker, according to the Department of Justice.

She was discovered on the night of July 23, 2025, zip-tied with her hands and ankles bound on a trail in a nature preserve in Egg Harbor Township. Greene had claimed she was attacked by three masked gunmen because she worked for Van Drew, a congressman who switched from Democrat to Republican in 2020.

Greene was granted supervised release in January and is awaiting trial. She was placed in the care of childhood campmate Kristin Haughton James in Florida. However, Haughton James told NJ.com that Greene's behavior led to her eviction from the home in March, citing alleged drama and attention-seeking behavior. It is currently unclear where Greene is living. Representatives for Greene and Haughton James did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
