Dina Broadhurst's new boyfriend, German artist Niclas Castello, is the subject of claims by his ex-girlfriend, New York PR executive Anna Rothschild. Rothschild alleges that their 2024 romance ended after she discovered text messages between Castello and reality television personality Bethenny Frankel, which she described as "unmistakably flirtatious."

Castello and Broadhurst, an Australian socialite, recently confirmed their relationship with public displays of affection during a holiday in Ibiza. This new romance follows Castello's high-profile marriage to Dutch television personality Sylvie Meis, which ended in separation in February 2023 and was finalized in June 2024.

Rothschild stated that her relationship with Castello began publicly in August 2024, shortly after they were introduced in Saint-Tropez. However, she claims that during their relationship, Castello was photographed with Frankel in Saint-Tropez in July 2024. At the time, sources denied any romantic involvement between Castello and Frankel, stating he was with a group of ten people and dating Rothschild.

According to Rothschild, she and Castello had vacationed together in Saint-Tropez two weeks before the photos with Frankel emerged. While she returned to New York for work, Castello remained in France. She alleges he assured her nothing was going on with Frankel and even sent her flowers and professed his love. He then returned to New York, and they took a trip to the Hamptons.

Rothschild recounted that after journalists began inquiring about her relationship with Castello and his connection to Frankel, she asked to see his phone. She claims she found messages between Castello and Frankel that were "unmistakably flirtatious," with alleged plans to see each other while Castello was staying with her. Rothschild stated that Castello had claimed to her that nothing was happening with Frankel, while allegedly telling Frankel he needed to be in the New York area "for clients."

"That's ultimately what ended it," Rothschild said of the alleged text exchange. She confirmed their split in October 2024 to German publication Bild, citing the difficulties of a long-distance relationship between her New York-based business and Castello's life in Germany, adding they decided to remain "very close friends."

Rothschild said her decision to speak out was partly inspired by news of Castello's new romance with Broadhurst. She suggested Castello might be drawn to women with public profiles who attract media attention, a dynamic she did not seek. "I genuinely wish her well," Rothschild said of Broadhurst. "But I have one piece of advice for the Aussie 'It' girl: 'Based on what I lived through, my advice to any woman with Niclas is simple: eyes wide open.' I stayed quiet about this for a long time. I'm done being quiet."

Daily Mail has reached out to Castello and Frankel for comment.
