Ex-Fiancé and Associates Charged with Sex Crimes Following Rep. Mace's House Floor Speech
Three men, including Rep. Nancy Mace's former fiancé, face charges related to alleged sex crimes that the congresswoman exposed in a public address.

Patrick Bryant, the former fiancé of U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace, along with two business associates, Eric Bernard Bowman and John Douglas Osborne, have been charged with sex crimes. The charges stem from alleged acts that occurred in 2018.
Bryant and Bowman face voyeurism charges for allegedly observing while Osborne engaged in sex acts with a woman described as incapacitated. Prosecutors claim the men coordinated the acts and recorded them, taking photos. A witness reportedly documented these events in a journal after observing a security feed at a home.
The alleged assault took place before Mace and Bryant became engaged in 2022. Their engagement was later called off in 2023. Osborne is charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, along with first-degree assault and battery. Bryant and Bowman are both charged with voyeurism.
Mace publicly detailed accusations against the three men in a speech on the House floor in February 2025. During her address, she described uncovering what she termed "heinous crimes against women imaginable," including rape, nonconsensual photography and videography of women and underage girls, and premeditated exploitation.
Bryant had previously filed a defamation lawsuit against Mace following her speech, but Mace asserted protections under the Constitution's Speech or Debate Clause. She stated in her speech that the men "recorded their depravity as if it were a badge of honor."
