Eve Markoski-Wood Offers Subtle Support for Mother Amid Sam Wood's Domestic Violence Charges

Eve Markoski-Wood has shared a message of love for her mother, Snezana, following domestic violence charges against her stepfather, Sam Wood. While the 21-year-old influencer has not made a direct public statement regarding the incident, she recently reshared a montage of television and film clips featuring characters expressing deep affection for their mothers. The video included scenes from "Gilmore Girls" and "Freaky Friday," accompanied by the caption, "I love my mum. That's probably the most obvious statement ever!"

This subtle gesture, which Eve also 'liked,' is interpreted as a sign of support for her mother during this difficult time. Wood, 46, who married Snezana Markoski three years after they met on the Channel Ten dating show in 2015, faces charges of assault occasioning bodily harm and strangulation in a domestic setting.

Police and paramedics responded to a luxury holiday villa in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast on a recent Saturday night. Wood was questioned by police and subsequently taken to the Maroochydore Watchhouse. He was reportedly staying at the resort with his wife Snezana, their three young daughters, and Eve.

Prior to the charges, Eve frequently shared content highlighting her close relationship with her stepfather on social media. However, since Wood's arrest, she has remained largely silent, with the exception of reposting the video montage. She had recently returned from a trip through Europe and had indicated she was spending time in Noosa with her family. In the days preceding Wood's arrest, Eve had been actively posting fashion and lifestyle content, with videos filmed by her mother.

The full details surrounding the incident that led to Wood's arrest are not yet public but are expected to be revealed during his bail application. Wood is currently being held at the Maroochydore Watchhouse. His lawyer confirmed that Wood intends to apply for bail and stated that the charges will be defended. The lawyer also mentioned that Wood did not appear in court due to "mental health concerns" and is worried about his family.

Wood, known for founding the successful home fitness business 28 By Sam Wood, which he sold in 2022 for $72 million, has since been terminated from his contract with the wellness company by its owner, DBG Health. Other companies and personalities have also distanced themselves from Wood following the charges.
