Eva Longoria, 51, has found a comfortable life abroad, splitting her time between Spain and Mexico, and has expressed that her "American chapter" is complete. The actress, who was born in Texas and spent much of her adult life in California, retains dual U.S. and Spanish citizenship. She recently shared that she no longer wishes to live in Los Angeles due to what she described as a "changing" atmosphere.

Longoria, who married José Bastón in 2016, purchased a villa in Marbella, Spain, in early 2023. She has been observed enjoying beach outings with her husband and their eight-year-old son, Santiago Enrique, near Marbella since late June. She was recently photographed in a bikini during a family beach excursion in Spain.

In a 2024 interview with Marie Claire, Longoria reflected on her life abroad, stating, "I'm privileged. I get to escape and go somewhere. Most Americans aren't so lucky. They're going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and my anxiety and sadness is for them." She noted that she and her family are content with their current arrangement of splitting time between Mexico and Spain.

Longoria was recognized in Spain in 2022 with the honorary title of "Dame" due to her ancestral ties to the city of Oviedo. She has also spoken about her fitness routine and how it has evolved. She told Good Housekeeping in June that she works out with a trainer six days a week, often starting at 5 a.m.

"My workouts are really my form of meditation. It's my therapeutic hour," she said. "Before, it was like, 'I want abs!' And now I need it for my clarity." Her routine now emphasizes heavy weight training, with less emphasis on cardio. She also incorporates meditation, journaling, and nature walks into her self-care practices. Sleep, she noted, is also a priority, which she calls a "huge beauty hack."

Longoria maintains that her lifestyle choices contribute to her well-being and that she prefers to cook many of her own meals. Eva Longoria relaxing on the beach

She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, and her family later moved to Los Angeles. She gained fame for her role in the television series "The Desperate Housewives." Longoria is also a stepmother to Bastón's three children from a previous marriage. Eva Longoria playing with beach toys
