Estranged Wife Details Marriage to 'Fake Tycoon' Aaron Wagner
Candace Wagner claims her husband, who faces federal fraud charges, cultivated a false image through filters and makeup.
Candace Wagner, estranged wife of $5.3 million 'tycoon' Aaron Wagner, has revealed details about their marriage, alleging that her husband's success and public image were fabricated. Aaron Wagner is currently facing federal fraud charges.
The couple, who share seven children, separated in June 2024. They resided in a $5.3 million mansion in Alpine, Utah, but moved out after Wagner was indicted. Candace Wagner told the Daily Mail that her husband was particularly vain, using foundation on his face and filtering his photos to maintain a curated appearance.
She claims the reality of his appearance was starkly different from his online persona, which often featured shirtless selfies and meticulously filtered images. Prosecutors have accused Wagner of creating a false image of success, which Candace now says was as fake as his veneers.
Wagner is scheduled to be sentenced in November and faces decades in prison. The once-lavish lifestyle he presented, including vacations and a large mansion, has reportedly evaporated following his admission of being a conman.
