ESPN personality Mina Kimes became a viral sensation for her unguarded expression on the program "NFL Live" during a report concerning the prostitution arrest of San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York.
Kimes shared the segment on Tuesday via X, formerly Twitter, stating that she was unaware she was being filmed. The clip shows Kimes making a pained grimace as colleague Adam Schefter detailed the allegations.
Schefter, citing a court document, reported that York allegedly arranged for sexual services in an Ohio trailer park for $140. Kimes' reaction was a visceral response to the reported sordid details.
The notes indicate that York reportedly contacted undercover police officers to arrange the encounter. York, who is a father of two and in the process of a divorce, was initially arrested for prostitution. He later pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct and possession of criminal tools. He received a two-day sentence, which was served concurrently in one day.
"We are aware of the matter, which will be reviewed under the personal conduct policy," NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy stated on Monday.
