Fox Sports personality Erin Andrews has spoken out against what she described as "gross" and false details circulating online about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding, which took place on July 3.

During an episode of the "Calm Down" podcast, Andrews stated she refrained from engaging with "weirdos" who were spreading misinformation about the celebrity nuptials. The event was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

"The one thing I’ll say and yes I am all for protecting their privacy … we get protective of our gal … there were a couple times that I saw some nasty headlines, just weirdos wanting to tip off people about things that didn’t happen," Andrews said. She added that she was concerned she might respond impulsively to the online speculation.

Andrews, who is married to former NHL player Jarret Stoll, did not provide specific examples of the false reports. She and her podcast co-host, Charissa Thompson, had previously voiced support for Kelce and Swift dating before the couple became public in 2023.

Kelce and Swift maintained a high level of privacy regarding their wedding details, with a significant security presence reportedly in place for the approximately 1,000 guests. Photos from the event have not yet been released.

Thompson, also speaking on the podcast, shared that attending the wedding may have influenced her own relationship decisions. Thompson, who is in a relationship with marketing executive Steve Cundari, described the wedding as "magical" and a "reminder that you can have everything in the world, but if you dont have the person to share it with then it’s not worth anything."

Thompson has previously discussed on the podcast her reservations about a third marriage and has considered a commitment ceremony or engagement party with Cundari. Cundari has reportedly expressed agreement with not pursuing marriage. The couple reportedly went public with their relationship in late 2022.
