Eric Swalwell Spotted Near D.C. Home Amid Investigations

Former U.S. Representative Eric Swalwell was observed on Wednesday evening near a property in Washington, D.C., as authorities continue to review allegations of sexual misconduct against him. Swalwell, who resigned from Congress in April, was seen attempting to enter a black SUV outside the house.

The sighting occurred on what was also his 10th wedding anniversary to Brittany Watts. Swalwell, wearing a cap and glasses, appeared hurried as he approached the vehicle. He declined to answer questions from reporters regarding the ongoing investigations.

A source indicated that Swalwell no longer resides in the Washington, D.C. property.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office confirmed on Thursday that it is reviewing a case involving Swalwell and Lonna Drewes, a Beverly Hills woman who has accused him of rape. Drewes publicly alleged in April that Swalwell drugged, raped, and choked her in 2018.

Swalwell is reportedly involved in business ventures including an AI campaign tool called Findraiser and a media company named Scrublin LLC. In August, security footage showed Swalwell at San Francisco International Airport being questioned by FBI agents who reportedly seized his electronic devices in connection with a federal investigation.

Previously, Swalwell faced multiple probes into alleged conduct, including a Department of Justice investigation into sexual assault claims. Investigators in Manhattan and Los Angeles have also launched inquiries into the allegations.
