Georgia Dane, the 14-year-old daughter of the late actor Eric Dane, is set to make her acting debut in the upcoming Lifetime movie "The Ocean Between Them." She will appear alongside her mother, Rebecca Gayheart, in the survival drama.
Georgia will reportedly play Ashley, the youngest daughter of Joan, portrayed by Gayheart. The film centers on Joan's search for her older daughter, Miranda, who becomes stranded at sea after a storm. "The Ocean Between Them" premieres September 26 and was filmed in Belize between May and June.
This acting role comes about six months after the death of Eric Dane, who passed away at age 53 from respiratory failure due to ALS. His autobiography, "My Book of Days: A Memoir in Moments," is scheduled for release on November 3.
Gayheart, who has not had an acting role since 2019, will also be appearing in the musical "Jawbreaker The Musical" and the thriller "Nickels." A GoFundMe page established by friends of the family to support Dane's daughters, Georgia and her older sister Billie, has raised over $492,000 towards its $500,000 goal.
