England's rugby team faced criticism for their discipline following a 31-24 victory over Argentina in the Nations Championship. The team incurred four yellow cards during the match, contributing to a total of 34 penalties conceded over their last three games.

Former England wing Chris Ashton commented that this pattern of ill-discipline is a weakness that opposing teams are likely to exploit. "If you are playing against England, you know they are going to give penalties away and make some stupid errors that result in them losing games," Ashton stated on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra.

Immanuel Feyi-Waboso, who scored England's fifth try and made significant ground with his runs, acknowledged discipline as a critical area for improvement. "Discipline is a huge thing," he said. "I don't know how many cards there were but too many. We can't be having games where we finish with 13 [players]."

Despite the disciplinary issues, head coach Steve Borthwick highlighted the team's "incredible spirit" for holding on to secure the win. He pointed to Henry Slade's late tackle as an example of the team's fight and unity. Borthwick also noted the demanding nature of the season and the amount of game time English players accumulate, emphasizing the players' resilience.

Meanwhile, Argentina's head coach Felipe Contepomi accused England of showing a "lack of respect" during his post-match press conference. Contepomi expressed dissatisfaction with the music and cheering emanating from England's adjacent changing room. He reportedly left the conference after his request for the noise to cease was not immediately addressed.
