Bria Spence, sister of England footballer Djed Spence, has described a harrowing experience in Miami, involving a forced hotel move due to substandard conditions and a previous travel ordeal that left her and her daughter stranded at an airport.

Spence, who has been documenting her trip for her 30,000 social media followers, stated she had to check out of her Miami hotel less than 24 hours after arriving. She reported that their room was damp, with significant moisture in the air, leading to wet socks and damp bedsheets. She also shared footage showing mould on doors and rust on lamps, describing the hotel's wooden fixtures as rotting.

Her experience contrasts with the luxury accommodations being shared online by other partners and family members of the England team, who have also arrived in Miami for the upcoming quarter-final match. Photos posted by Ellie Watkins, wife of Ollie Watkins, and Megan Pickford, wife of goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, showcase expansive living spaces, pools, and beachside views.

This recent incident follows a previous travel disaster where Spence and her daughter missed a connecting flight to Mexico after their United Airlines flight was delayed due to technical difficulties. Stranded in Washington D.C., Spence recounted that airline representatives were unhelpful, allegedly suggesting they sleep at the airport and refusing to provide hotel accommodation.

"Nah, these men are wicked out here. First they tried to say no one in the airport could help us," Spence stated, detailing the interaction. "Then they tried to make us get three different flights to places in Mexico I promise you've never heard of."

She expressed frustration with the lack of empathy from the airline staff, highlighting that she was traveling with a child. "But we are stranded. I'm with a child. To have this job you need to have some kind of empathy," she told a representative, who reportedly responded, "That's up to the person doing it." Spence concluded that the attendant chose not to assist them.

It remains unclear where Bria and her daughter are currently located, though they are expected to arrive in time for the match at the Azteca Stadium. Bria is a noted supporter of Tottenham Hotspur and frequently travels to support her brother's career, documenting her experiences on social media.
