Engine Issue Forces Emirates Flight Back to Adelaide

An Emirates flight en route to Dubai experienced an engine issue shortly after departing Adelaide, necessitating an emergency return.

An Emirates plane bound for Dubai was forced to return to Adelaide Airport early Tuesday morning due to an engine issue. Flight EK441 departed Adelaide at 10:29 p.m. on Monday and was airborne for approximately one hour and 40 minutes before turning back. Passengers on the flight reported being informed by the captain of an engine fire.

The aircraft landed back in Adelaide at 2:11 a.m. on Tuesday. The airline has been contacted for comment.
