An incident involving Philadelphia Eagles head of security Dom DiSandro, known as "Big Dom," is reportedly under NFL investigation following a revelation by former NFL player Emmanuel Acho on his podcast.

Acho, during an episode of his "Speakeasy" podcast, recounted a car accident from his playing days in Philadelphia where he rear-ended another vehicle. According to Acho, he contacted team security, and DiSandro allegedly intervened to manage the situation. Acho stated that the plan involved having a different police officer arrive, who would then allegedly alter the official report to place fault on the other driver.

"I hit one of our security people. He says, ‘Acho, when the cop shows up, send the cop away. I’m going to send you another cop and that other cop is going to say it wasn’t your fault, it was their fault,’" Acho said on the podcast. "Cop comes up. ‘Hey, everything good?’ I’m like, ‘Everything’s good, don’t worry about it. Somebody is going to come here.’ That cop leaves. We send another cop. The other cop that comes to document says she’s at fault."

Acho also detailed how team security, with DiSandro's alleged involvement, offered the other driver two home tickets and signed jerseys to resolve the matter. This account has now drawn the attention of the NFL, which is reportedly examining whether DiSandro's alleged actions violated league rules or exposed the Eagles to liability.

DiSandro has previously faced NFL disciplinary action. In 2023, he was fined $100,000 and suspended from the sidelines following an altercation with San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw during a game.

Former Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel criticized Acho's decision to share the story, calling it an act of seeking attention and betraying loyalty. Samuel posted on X, formerly Twitter, stating, "We have an investigation going on because fool is dying for attention and a gossip queen smfh."

Acho has previously generated controversy for his public comments on other issues, including his reaction to the death of political activist Charlie Kirk, where he stated he did not believe Kirk was a hero and that mourning his death by gun would contradict his stated views on the Second Amendment.
