Emma Willis is set to return as the host of "The Voice UK" for its 15th series, concurrently taking on a presenting role for the BBC's "Strictly Come Dancing." This dual commitment means Willis, 50, will potentially be seen on rival networks during primetime television.
New Coaches and Twists for "The Voice UK"
The lineup for "The Voice UK" series 15 was revealed Friday, featuring returning coaches Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Tom Fletcher, and Danny Jones. Joining them is global superstar Kelly Rowland, who is expected to bring a new dynamic to the competition. "The Voice UK" last aired in 2024, with Ava Manning, coached by Danny and Tom Fletcher, winning the series and securing a record deal, prize money, and a trip to Universal Resort in Orlando.
This upcoming series will introduce a new twist for the coaches: a "Rewind" button. This allows coaches a single opportunity during the blind auditions to reconsider an act they initially passed on, bringing them back for a chance to join their team. ITV has not yet announced a launch date for the new season.
Willis's Expanding Television Schedule
Willis's return to "The Voice UK" comes after speculation that she might leave the show. Her new role on "Strictly Come Dancing" will see her co-host alongside Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe on Saturday and Sunday nights. The trio will take over from former hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
Willis also continues her commitments as a host for "Love Is Blind UK" alongside her husband, Matt Willis. The couple has hosted the dating show since 2024, and it is scheduled to return later in 2026. Willis was the first of the "Strictly Come Dancing" presenting team to be signed by the BBC, following chemistry reads and screen tests.
Widdicombe expressed his excitement for the role, referencing his past appearance on the 2024 "Strictly" Christmas special. Johannes, a professional dancer on "Strictly" since 2018, will be taking on presenting duties for the first time. He will also serve as a roving reporter on the show.
