Emma Willis has announced Ellie Taylor as the new presenter for BBC's "Strictly: It Takes Two." The reveal took place on Willis's BBC Radio 2 lunchtime show shortly after she returned from a family holiday in Corfu.

Willis, 50, and her husband, Matt Willis, 43, were on a sailing trip in Corfu with their three children: Isabella, 17, Ace, 14, and Trixie, 10. Emma's parents, Cathy and Steve Griffiths, also joined the family for the getaway.

During the holiday, the family engaged in various activities, including crabbing and watersports. Photos shared from the trip showed the family enjoying time on a yacht and on land, with Matt seen carrying pink inflatables after a day by the pool.

Upon her return, Willis dedicated a segment of her BBC Radio 2 show to the "Strictly special." She introduced Ellie Taylor as the mystery guest, who was then revealed as the new host of "Strictly: It Takes Two." Willis expressed her delight, stating, "I am so glad they are in it together." Taylor shared her excitement about the new role, saying, "I am over the moon! I feel giddy. So nice to get the secret out." She also mentioned keeping the news from her children, only telling her mother and partner.

In a statement, Taylor expressed her honor in following previous hosts and her eagerness to bring "Strictly" fans all the behind-the-scenes gossip and "sequins flying out of the ballroom."

This announcement comes as "Strictly: It Takes Two" undergoes a significant overhaul for the upcoming series. While the main show presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are reportedly being replaced by Emma Willis, comedian Josh Widdicombe, and professional dancer Johannes Radebe, the hosting role for "It Takes Two" has also seen a change. Most recently, Fleur East and Janette Manrara hosted the show, but it was previously announced they would be replaced.

Reports suggest Taylor was a strong contender for other roles within the "Strictly" franchise due to her popularity as a contestant in 2022 and her engaging personality. She was reportedly considered for the main show's hosting position before the executive team focused on her for "It Takes Two," aiming to revitalize the program.
