Emma Roberts and Cody John were married on Saturday in Sun Valley, Idaho, PEOPLE has confirmed. The couple exchanged vows in front of friends and family after four years of dating.
Roberts and John announced their engagement in July 2024. Roberts shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of herself showing off a large round diamond on her left hand. She was first romantically linked to John in August 2022, when he posted a photo of them together. Sources told E! News at the time that the couple was taking things slow after being introduced by mutual friends.
Roberts welcomed her son Rhodes in December 2020 with ex-boyfriend Garrett Hedlund. She was reportedly hesitant about the relationship initially, wanting to protect her child. She and Hedlund dated for three years before breaking up in late 2021.
The wedding ceremony took place in 95-degree weather and lasted approximately 45 minutes, according to a source. Roberts wore a white chiffon gown with a high slit and a matching headband, while John wore a black tuxedo. Roberts walked down the aisle holding her son Rhodes' hand.
Roberts' aunt, Julia Roberts, was in attendance at the wedding.
