Kim Scott, the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, was hospitalized over the weekend, according to reports. The 51-year-old was transported to McLaren Macomb Hospital on Saturday after Chesterfield Police Department and EMS responded to a call at her Michigan home.
An emergency call was placed around 8 p.m. regarding an individual who was "unconscious" or "fainting," according to a Chesterfield Fire/EMS report. Scott was reportedly suffering from a "hemorrhage/laceration." She was observed leaving her residence on a gurney and placed into an ambulance. Her current condition is unknown.
This hospitalization follows recent legal issues for Scott. In May, she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after allegedly hitting a parked car near Detroit. Chesterfield Township PD Detective Sergeant Joseph Feld confirmed the incident to TMZ at the time.
In June, it was revealed that an active arrest warrant had been issued for Scott after she failed to appear in Macomb County District Court for a hearing related to the suspected DUI. Prosecutors had requested a bench warrant and forfeiture of her release bond.
The February incident, which led to the May arrest, involved Scott allegedly driving her white Range Rover into a parked Dodge Ram. The collision reportedly pushed the truck 50 feet. Scott was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to stop or identify after causing property damage.
Scott and the rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III, were married twice. They first married in 1999, divorced in 2001, remarried in 2006, and divorced again later that year. They share a daughter, Hailie Jade, born in 1995. Scott also has a son, Parker, from another relationship, and had a child named Stevie Laine Scott with a former partner before Eminem adopted Stevie in 2005. Eminem also adopted Alaina Marie Scott, the daughter of Scott's sister, Dawn Scott.
