Emily Willis's Final Texts Reveal Struggle Before Paralysis

Actress Emily Willis's final text messages before a catastrophic health event left her paralyzed and able to communicate only through grunts have been revealed. The messages were sent shortly before she suffered a heart attack that left her in critical condition.

Willis, whose real name is Litzy Lara Banuelos, had checked into Summit Malibu, a luxury rehabilitation clinic in California, in early 2024 to address a worsening addiction to ketamine and alcohol. Nine days into her treatment, she experienced a heart attack that brought her to the brink of death.

Following the heart attack, Willis was left nearly brain-dead and unable to communicate beyond basic vocalizations. Reports indicate that despite her eyes being open, her ability to understand or respond to her surroundings was severely compromised.

Willis gained significant recognition in the adult film industry, earning accolades from publications like Penthouse and accumulating substantial earnings. She also ventured into mainstream Hollywood, securing a role in the 2023 sci-fi film "Divinity" alongside actress Bella Thorne. Her career was marked by awards, including wins at the AVN Awards, often referred to as the Oscars of the adult industry.
